To The Lighthouse by Ludovico Einaudi

To the Lighthouse is a free installation by Ludovico Einaudi that draws some inspiration from the eponymous novel by Virginia Woolf.
“The lighthouse appears as a desired but unattainable goal, its light emanates a sense of distance and mystery, its constant flashing in the distance seems to represent an aspiration never fully grasped. For me, it is somewhat of a metaphor for artistic creation, the unfulfilled desire, the ceaseless search for a shining promise that seems close but is, in fact, impossible to reach.”
The installation will take place at Sala Piccola of Teatro Dal Verme every day of Ludovico Einaudi’s concerts (from November 28th to December 18th) and it will last 15 minutes approximately.
