La Blanche Alchimie

An “escape project” through music. This is the philosophy under the second, ambitious album by La Blanche Alchimie: Galactic Boredom, with the artistic production of Ludovico Einaudi.

«Without being pretentious or extremely intellectual, with the metaphor of “galactic boredom” we wanted to stress the concept of alienation previously addressed in the latest album. On one side there is the realization of everyday life in which we don’t recognize ourselves and that we fear; on the other side, there is the desire to escape from the present to find shelter in the past or in the future. Our salvation? It goes through memories, thoughts, beauty, hope».

The dualism at the heart of Galactic Boredom reverberates also on the acoustic tale, elegant and chic, a revival of Italian pop. It is an album of songs. Songs chiseled with craftsmanship where the intimate pop is declined in a romantic-decadent way, although here and there are hints of rock and dark music.
