Actress, top model, French Première Dame, Carla Bruni (born in 1967) is one of the most important personalities worldwide. Famous for her collaboration with renowned fashion designers, she is also known for her songs, simple, essential, and extremely appreciated by her fans.

Carla Bruni started her career as a model in 1987 and entered the Super Model group during the Nineties together with Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen, Claudia Schiffer, and Cindy Crawford. She worked with major fashion brands, both Italian and French, participated in the fashion shows of Christian Dior, Balmain, Versace, Valentino, Chanel, Yves Saint Lauren, posed for famous photographers such as Peter Lindberg, Driu & Tiago, Mert et Marcus, Mario Sorrenti and she appeared in fashion editorials for Vogue, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar among others.

At the beginning of the 2000s, Carla decided to put a stop to her modelling career to dedicate herself to music. In 2002 she published her first album Quelqu’un m’a dit, which became a worldwide success, sold two million copies, and was certified double diamond. This success was validated by the following albums: No Promises (2007), Comme si de rien n’était (2008), Little French Songs (2013), and French Touch (2017). Her music was appreciated by a wide audience as demonstrated by the sold-out international tours.

Carla Bruni’s fame and success were amplified thanks to her appearances in films such as Catwalk (1995) by Richard Leacock and Midnight in Paris (2011) by Woody Allen, together with her commitment to important humanitarian causes. Carla is extremely engaged in the fight against AIDS and in 2008 was named international ambassador for the International Fund against AIDS in particular for the protection of women and children against HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria. Her latest musical project was Carla Bruni (2020), a collection of 13 tracks (14 in the vinyl version and 17 in the “collection” version) in which the piano and her voice create songs of enchanting simplicity and essentiality, a perfect epitome of Carla’s music. The songs are mostly in French, except for “Your Lady” which is sung in English, and “Voglio l’amore”, which is sung in Italian together with her sister, actress Valeria Bruni Tedeschi.
