Just as the surprising world jazz trio is working on their second studio album, “Sound Sketches: Music Composed for the Giorgio Armani Privé 2005-2025 Exhibition” is released today, September 25th, via Ponderosa Music Records. The work is available on vinyl, CD, and across all digital platforms.

The album stems from a unique commission by Giorgio Armani: a one-hour original soundtrack for the exhibition “Giorgio Armani Privé 2005-2025: Twenty Years of Haute Couture” hosted at Armani/Silos in Milan.

Personally curated by the legendary designer, the exhibition retraced twenty years of his vision of haute couture through an immersive journey made of colors, light, precious fabrics, embroidery, and music—the music of L’Antidote.

The genesis of “Sound Sketches” is a curious one: it was born from the very first recordings made before Covid during an intense studio residency in Tuscany. Without a predetermined direction or defined musical structure, Albanian (and naturalized Leccese) cellist Redi Hasa, Australian-based Lebanese pianist Rami Khalifé, and Franco-Iranian percussionist Bijan Chemirani let themselves be guided by total improvisation. Years later, producer Alberto Fabris revisited these original sessions, bringing back to light moments of extraordinary beauty and cohesion that had remained unreleased until then.

Together with sound engineer Valerio Daniele, Fabris carefully selected, edited, and mixed a portion of these recordings for King Giorgio’s exhibition. And the tracks capture «the moment when three distinct artistic voices became one.
