Bio

Imagine three rivers leaving their beds to merge into one free and unpredictable stream.

Three musicians from different Eastern traditions. Redi Hasa, an Albanian, inspired cellist known for his work in reviving traditional music from southern Italy. Rami Khalifé, a Lebanese virtuoso classical pianist whose personal musical landscape encompasses Rachmaninov, Sufi mysticism, electro-dance, and, of course, the influence of his illustrious father, Marcel Khalife—much like that of his brother, Bachar. Bijan Chemirani, an Iranian, also an heir—along with his brother Kevan and sister Myriam—to another guiding figure, the late maestro Djamshid Chemirani.

“The Antidote,” a virtuoso instrumental repertoire, infuses beauty and contrasts the healing power of mystical music with the poisons of our times and the torments of the world. Recorded in Puglia, a region conducive to dreaming and contemplation, it offers a rich, free, and immersive sonic journey.
