V.Edo

April 15th, 2016 was the publication date for V.Edo, the first solo album by V.Edo, stage name of Edoardo Vergara,for Ponderosa Music & Art.

The album, a collection of nine tracks, is the reflection of V.Edo’s musical soul: the voice reveals, the guitar defines the melody, the drums go along lightly and the horns are reminiscent of Oriental atmospheres. The lyrics are a poetic collage of fragments created and collected over time and during Edoardo’s travels between Andalusia and Trentino-Alto Adige.

The style of V.Edo, which reminds of Manu Chao or Les Négresses Vertes, is perfectly embodied by the album, which is produced by Pasquale Defina – an important Italian rock figure thanks to Atletico Defina and several high-profile collaborations – and in which the listener can experience the essence and beauty of the Mediterranean territory.
