La Blanche Alchimie

Everything, from the group’s name to the album’s cover, suggests the “Maudite” atmosphere of La Blanche Alchimie, full of fog and curses which are fully expressed both in the lyrics and in the embroideries of strings instruments and piano present throughout the entire album. The lyrics are soaked in poetic imagery in which verses are extremely close to poetry and succeed in blending perfectly with the music.

Jessica Einaudi’s voice sings about a confusing epic, full of pain and shadows, queens and poison, immersed in a melancholic acoustic that sometimes yields to precise electronics and insistent rhythmics.
