Renato Sellani
Glad There is You
On November 1st, 2014 passed away at the age of eighty-eight in Milan Renato Sellani, an eminent Italian jazz musician. However, he left us Glad There is You, a double CD recorded five months before his passing that can be considered his musical will.
The work is produced in full solitude, it was recorded in Milan at Limen Studio and presents in the first CD a program of Italian songs from the Sixties onwards and in the second one a more standard program. In other words, the album presents, well separated, the compositions which represented the passionate repertoire of Sellani during his long career.
