Bio

Rapper, songwriter and producer, DARGEN D’AMICO is among the most eclectic and poetic representatives of the contemporary Italian singer-songwriter scene. He has released ten albums, including two that changed the history of Italian hip hop: ‘Musica senza musicisti’ (2006) and ‘Di vizi di forma virtù’ (2008).

He shifted genre boundaries by merging rap with Italian cultured music. His unique style is characterised by the deconstruction of language and balancing games between the senses of words. He has repeatedly collaborated with Fedez, Fabri Fibra, Marracash, Rkomi, Benny Benassi, Enrico Ruggeri, 883 and Tedua, to name a few.

He was also a judge on ‘X Factor’ for two consecutive years, in 2022 and 2023.
