Bio

Alan Clark, a musician born in 1952, is considered a rarity in the rock music scene because of his decision of playing the classic piano and keyboards while producing distinctively rock songs. With Dire Straits, of which he was the first and only lead keyboardist until their breakup, Clark published numerous successes and entered the Rock&Roll Hall of Fame, while listing several collaborations with legendary artists like Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Bee Gees, Tina Turner, Sting and Rod Stewart.

With Ponderosa Music & Art he published Backstory, a record that traces back his forty years of career, re-editing some of his most famous tracks for the piano and creating a simple, regal, and emotional sound.
