Stefano Vergani

Mi sono giusto allontanato per un attimo (Parte Prima), published by Lapilla Records/Ponderosa Records on the 24^th of June 2019, is the musical achievement of Vergani’s artistic commitment blended with the artistic direction of Francesco Arcuri, multi-instrumentalist, and collaborator of artists like Vinicio Capossela, Alessandro Mannarino, and Ludovico Einaudi.

The title of the album seems ironic but hides in itself a reflection on human disorientation in modern society, on how the same society rapidly changes and evolves, and on how much it’s necessary to disconnect from the rush of modern chaos.

The songs were created during Vergani’s stay in a Sicilian ranch, after the decision he made to leave his home near Milan in 2017. The musician found himself immersed in nature, close to the sea and surrounded by animals, and is precisely thanks to this kind of atmosphere that Vergani was able to create songs that have the power to carry the listener outside their daily life guided by Stefano’s song writing skills.
