April 15th, 2016 was the publication date for V.Edo<\/em><\/strong>, the first solo album by V.Edo, <\/strong>stage name of Edoardo Vergara,<\/strong>for Ponderosa Music & Art.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The album, a collection of nine tracks, is the reflection of V.Edo<\/strong>\u2019s musical soul: the voice reveals, the guitar defines the melody, the drums go along lightly and the horns are reminiscent of Oriental atmospheres. The lyrics are a poetic collage of fragments created and collected over time and during Edoardo<\/strong>\u2019s travels between Andalusia and Trentino-Alto Adige.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The style of V.Edo<\/strong>, which reminds of Manu Chao or Les N\u00e9gresses Vertes, is perfectly embodied by the album, which is produced by Pasquale Defina \u2013 an important Italian rock figure thanks to Atletico Defina and several high-profile collaborations \u2013 and in which the listener can experience the essence and beauty of the Mediterranean territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
