Il gruppo viene inizialmente ingaggiato dall\u2019etichetta indipendente Off the Track sotto cui rilasciano il singolo di protesta \u201c200 Ans D\u2019Hypocrisie\u201d in risposta alle celebrazioni per il bicentenario della Rivoluzione Francese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nel 1989 pubblicano il loro primo album\u00a0<strong><em>Mlah<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0che mette sotto i riflettori le diverse radici culturali dei membri del gruppo che passano dalla Francia, all\u2019Algeria e alla Spagna. Tutte queste influenze culminano in un album dinamico e coinvolgente che la critica europea e statunitense accoglie con clamore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mlah<\/strong> \u00e8 un disco che mette sotto i riflettori le diverse radici culturali dei membri del gruppo che passano dalla Francia, all\u2019Algeria e alla Spagna. Tutte queste influenze culminano in un albumdinamico e coinvolgente che la critica europea e statunitense accoglie con clamore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Questo gruppo carismaticosi \u00e8 formato nei quartieri popolari parigini degli anni\u201880, passando perilcabaretequestre Zingaro, il punk e la musica gitana. Ancora oggi sono uno dei gruppi pi\u00f9 iconiciin tutto il mondo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La tragica scomparsa del cantante Helno nel 1993 ha segnato un punto di svolta nella storia del gruppo.
