Isabelle Geoffrey<\/strong>, aka ZAZ<\/strong>, born in Tours, France in 1980, is considered the heir of French star Edith Piaf, even if ZAZ<\/strong>\u2019s unique sound is inspired by the rhythm and influences stemming from the Thirties, jazz, and Latin soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Musician but also the founder of \u201cZazimut\u201d, an association supporting non-profit organizations, ZAZ <\/strong>began her artistic path as part of the Fifty Fingers blues band <\/em>and then became one of the four voices of the band Izarz-Adatz<\/em>, with whom she performed for two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2010, she published her first solo album, the homonym ZAZ, <\/em>which brought her to the top of Francophile countries\u2019 charts. The single \u201cJe veux<\/strong>\u201d, extracted from the album, topped the charts of many European countries, including Italy. The same year, she toured to promote the album and performed in the main French and European cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her second album Recto Verso <\/em>was published three years later. ZAZ <\/strong>herself defined this project as \u00abtwo sides of my personality\u00bb. The album was certified platinum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not even a year has passed that in 2014 ZAZ <\/strong>published her third effort, Paris<\/em>, dedicated to the city and to France. For this work, she paired with Quincy Jones, who produced the album, and sang a duet with Armenian songwriter Charles Aznavour for the memorable song \u201cJ\u2019aime Paris au mois de mai\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Her latest album, Effet Miroir, <\/em>was published in 2018. The same year the artist performed in Italy, in Milan, for the Tri.p Music Festival <\/strong>(Triennale Milano).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
