Kula Shaker, gli ultimi grandi eretici del rock britannico. Prendono il nome da un re dell’India meridionale del IX secolo, il mix esoterico di riff psichedelici, mantra e misticismo rock and roll della band ha deriso l’ortodossia britpop degli anni ’90.
Il 2022 vede il lancio di “1st Congregational Church of Eternal Love & Free Hugs”, un doppio album epico, irto di energia, vitalità e, soprattutto, melodie omicide, a dimostrazione del fatto che “Once & Future King” è senza dubbio tornato – riavviato, rivitalizzato e pronto a reclamare il trono.

Kula Shaker, the last great heretics of British rock. Named after a 9th century South Indian King, the band’s esoteric mix of psychedelic riffs, mantras and rock and roll mysticism laughed in the face of Britpop orthodoxy in the 90’s.
2022 sees the launch of ‘1st Congregational Church of Eternal Love & Free Hugs’ – an epic double album, bristling with energy, vitality and most importantly, killer tunes, proving that the Once & Future King has undoubtedly returned – rebooted, re-energised and ready to reclaim the throne.
